My metal friend

Please listen to this true story
a story which happened to me
so sit down and stay
and you will see

how darkness had got me
how sadness ruled my life
how i didn't need my friends
since Ive found a knife

my family saw the scars
my family saw my tears
yet when i wanted to talk
they had deaf ears

they said they understand
but they never really did
so some of my scars
that were really deep i hid

so i want to say that I'm
over doing it now
but i did it
with out knowing how

one day a bright sky appeared
and my life turned around
i felt a huge weight life off me
and i could finally could get off the ground

the sun was shinning
and i could hear bird singing
my life was great
i was winning

i chucked my metal friend
never to use him again
because i knew
my life would never be that way again
