Early

by Sinister Soire   Nov 1, 2005

It's another early morning
And I'm all alone out here
Nothing left for me to find
Nothing left to hear

All alone and at my desk
I find my world intact
But it isn't real still
It isn't based in fact

I spend so many mornings
Early and so late
Sitting here with nothing left
But contempt and hate

All these early mornings
Give me time to think
They save me from the foolish antics
But break my vital link

All these early mornings
Have changed me from a boy
Transformed me into something else
With anything but joy
