Different

I don't understand why the birds still sing
Why the world is so dark and cruel
Why no one seems to care
Why it hurts so much inside
Why tears flow down my cheeks
But most of all I feel alone
I don't understand this empty feeling
I don't understand why I'm bottled up
I don't understand love because I never felt it
What I do understand is that I'm different,
Alone in the corner, wishing it was all different
