I wish you knew how i felt,
when you walked away.
Now there is this pain,
that is forever to stay.

I'm all alone,
in this dark place,
picturing what we did,
picturing your face.

what happened?
you never did explain.
I'm pretty sure its all my fault,
for I'm the one to blame.

you said you'd never leave,
why did i believe you?
i thought you were the one,
i believed that to be true.

Not everything is forever,
not everything is meant to last.
I need to let go,
it needs to stay in the past.
