You think its right

by SPC Ecklund   Nov 1, 2005

When all you've endured is
pain and anger you think it's
right to channel this pain.

you cut yourself because
you have no where to
turn or run and hide.

I've been down that road
and back again. The
depression took me over.

more than once had I taken
out my blade to cut my
precious scared skin.

you think its right
to cut yourself when
you know nothing else.

well you're wrong. It's not
right. There may be
happiness on the other side.

I've quit the malicious
act of cutting myself.
It doesn't help.

I've left scars behnd that
behold memories that I
may not want to remember.

Scars remind us that our
past is Real and that we
had no one to help.

No one can help you but
yourself, you got yourself into
this, now get yourself out.

You put the blade to your
wrist and you cut and
it's not right.

You think its right when
its not. You think it will help
relieve the pain when it won't!

*** this poems is meant to help others realize like i have that cutting doesn't help and there's always happiness*********
