She puts on her makeup the same she does everyday
Trying her hardest to makes the bruises and pain go away
No one hears her screams and cry
When he kicks and punches she just wants to die.
Her life is nothing while she's by his side
Help and safety is proving hardest to find.
Living in shame because of what he does
This isn't the life she wants, this wasn't choice
Friends and family are blind to his evil and flaws
They don't know what he does when there behind closed doors.
He tells her she worthless and makes her do what he says

She's to good for him but she cant see that
He controls everything she does even how she feels
Blinded by what you think is love, you need to see
