Brick Wall

by krysten   Nov 1, 2005

You're always told its no way to live
You're told people care
You're told not to damage yourself

But you wonder how people can say this
You wonder how can they care
They're never around
You wonder how can you damage yourself
When all it brings is relieve

You never think it could kill you
And so what if it does
No one would miss you

You look at people like a brick wall
You never show emotion
You no longer talk to those you used to

Then one day up in your room
You hold your fathers dager
To your chest
You thrust hard

And when they came home
See the blood
And see you
With your eyes filled with fear
They see what they're missed
because they couldn't see beyond
The brick wall that enclosed you
