The Eyes Of A Photo

by Anthony   Nov 1, 2005

The eyes of a photo,
Follow me around the room.
Watching me move,
Plotting my doom.
The betrayed friends,
Looking at me from the table.
Smiles seem to fade to frowns,
Knowing what I've done.
Sold her out,
Made her cry,
Killed his confidence,
To the point they wanted to die.
The photo a remembrance,
To remind me of my deeds,
To make me regret,
To expose my misery.

I've read this before when you showed it to me, but it more excellent when you read it a second time.

Made more sense when I'm not rushing to read it.
