Please talk to your friend and let her know how much you care about her, if you haven't already. I've been in both your place and hers, and I know a listening and caring ear can make all the difference. There really is nothing better you can do for her. As for your writing, keep pouring out your feelings as you have, but if you feel like improving, the best advice I can give you is to work on organization a bit more.
