On Course, Of Course

by Bill Turner   Nov 1, 2005

I love you unconditionally
That is how you love me too
Life is too short for anything less
We will never play the relationship game
We never look for fault or lay blame

What we have is different
Unique to the world of love
We are open and honest
No secrets or games to play
It has always been this way

Our life and our love driven by our deeds
As we have proven no problem we cannot solve
No trouble we cannot overcome
We will stand by each others side
Chin held high doing it with pride

There is no need for anything less
To do otherwise puts us on a course for failure
We have seen that road a time or two
We have a new chart for life
Sailing on to become husband and wife

No sextant to guide us
No landmarks up ahead
Yet we know which direction to go
We are guided from above
Destined to fulfill our love

Bill....I have never known a man that truly could write love poems as well as you....These come to you from the heart....and they are so beautiful....

    I truly love this stanza:
Our life and our love driven by our deeds
As we have proven no problem we cannot solve
    No trouble we cannot overcome
We will stand by each others side
Chin held high doing it with pride

    great job as always
    Love Ann
