The Poet's Blank Canvas (version 2)

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Nov 2, 2005

*I have so many ideas for this theme, so i might write a couple of different ones under the same title... yet they will all be different*

The poet's blank canvas stares back at him.
He seeks for words to recreate his story.
He searches for an inspiration to unfold.

The poet rummages through different ideas.
None better than the next, desperate.
His need to write becomes a necessity.

Unable to find an idea, waving the white flag.
After many tempts, he finally gives up.
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
Maybe tomorrow, the inspiration will be back.
