Too Much

When I saw you leave that day,
I knew you'd come again,
And you did time after time,
There was no anger, and no pain.

And then you didn't come,
And my world broke apart,
It seemed you ripped it out my chest,
The you stomped right on my heart.

Day turned into night,
Night back into day,
The pain still in my chest,
Emotions are a game you play.

The guard around me fell,
And all I did was stare,
I can't stand to pick it up,
This pain's too much to bear..
