Puddle of Blood

by SavannahSurrender   Nov 2, 2005

Hiding behind a smile
Hoping to feel real happiness
Every once in a while.
Cutting to see the blood seep,
Hoping that one day
Maybe she'll cut too deep.
Many tears she cries
As each night she slits her wrists
And slowly watches herself die.
One day, there she will be
With a note left beside her lifeless body
And no one would care to read.
Her expectations that are so high
No one would be able to meet
Will lead to her suicide
With a puddle of blood at her feet.
