UnKnown Masks

by RadianceInReverse   Nov 2, 2005

He's friendly but he wears a mask
She's loving but she wears a disguise

Both living different lives
But holding on to the same lies
Lonely and Distressed
Always pretending to be happy among the rest

He's popular with many unknowing friends
She's well known with unbelieving friends

But deep down they are broken up inside
they pray and hope to die
Depressed and Suicidal
They look to a Knife to ease the pain

He wears the coolest clothes
She wears the most fashionable

But still no one knows
what lies beneath those clothes
Are physical and emotional scars
Their like ticking bombs ready to explode

He's Lonely and Withdrawn
She's Depressed and Dark

But now they've finally let it out
Now they show all there scars
No more Lying and Deception
Now knowing the feeling of rejection
They've began to understand

What loneliness really means!!

Once again not my best..but I'm proud of this poem...and i hope you liked it...Please help me come up with a title...Plz comment..Much Love..Joclyn
