Do You Remember?

~ Do You Remember ~
By Nicole Pirri

Do you remember
The day I died?
You pushed me in front of that car
And then you lied.

You said you never did it
You said it was a tap.
So you were gonna run away
Cos' you couldn't take all this crap.

It wasn't fair what you did
It was outrageous.
So you always cried,
And to not make it contagious.

At my funeral
You said a few words.
Told everyone that after I was hit,
My skull smashed on the curb.

You made my mummy cry,
And you made my dad.
You made the man down the road
Really, really sad.

But hey, don't forget the good times
When you cried and I laughed.
Even the time we both
Took a bath.

Remember me
When we went across
The teacher's house, and threw eggs?
Well, she couldn't give a toss.

Remember my birthday?
Fourteen candles.
And that silly birthday present?
A pair of sandals.

Well this year there won't be
Fifteen candles on my cake.
It's because of you
I give and not take.

But you have disappointed me
For what you've done.
So take them stupid sandals
And shove them up your bum!

But one thing
I hate the most
Is that you never failed
In burning the toast!

Don't forget
Please remember.
The time you pushed me
And my life I had to surrender!
