Her face as is the moon

by Jason G King   Nov 2, 2005

Her face as is the moon
So distant but so clear
In the winter sky of June
So far but yet so near
Her eyes as diamonds shine
So bright but yet not mine
With mouth no spoken word
She'll fly just as a bird
Her heart can not be tamed
Sees love as just a game
And that is what you'll get
Your heart filled with regret
