Perfect Suicide.

by Megann Lee   Nov 2, 2005

One-million thoughts racing Thur my head.
One-thousand pictures flashing back.
How can you do this awful sin?

The perfect suicide,to end it all.
A thousand pills swallowed down one by one.
Your lifeless body looking perfectly asleep.
Arms folded over your chest, looking like your taking a nap.

Oh what a sin this is.

The perfect suicide, to make the pain stop.
I single shot to your head.
Oh, how perfect it would have been.
Walls splattered with traces of blood.
Like a Davinich painting on your wall.

Oh what a sin this is.

The perfect suicide, to take your hopeless life.
Neatly placed incisions upon your wrist.
Two to be exact.
Dripping all your wonderful blood on your floor.
Looking like two red water walls.

Oh what a sin this is.

The perfect suicide.
A single piece of rope hanging in the shower stall.
Lifeless and sorry.
A body dangling from the rope.

Oh what a sin this is.

The perfect suicide.
Planned out.
A moment of panic.
We ourselves shall never know.
What went on in their head.

Oh what a sin this is.
For we have lost, not only are family and are friends.
We have lost what we thought were perfect people.
Who never in a millions years, would have done a sin so evil.
To send us Thur these spiral loops of emptiness.
A empty space in are hearts.
Where are loved ones once were.

For people who have had friends or family who have attempted or committed suicide. My prays are with you all.

I really like this poem as a whole, but I have some suggestions. In the 2nd stanza, the simile you used could be better, it's predictable and disrupts the flow. I think you made a spelling error, instead of through you said "thur". It's very original, how you started out describing the suicides, which made me think this was going to be another depressing poem, but then turned it around. Good work
