Forsaken Life

by Love Fallacy   Nov 2, 2005

I'm drowning in a pool,
But it's not of my tears,
Blood spewing from my body,
Releasing all my fears,

As I'm lying in my blood,
My body starts to freeze,
The blood is now done flowing,
And my heart starts to cease,

It's all over now,
My soul is set free,
Flying high above the clouds,
Or diving deep beneath the sea,

Where will I be living,
In my forsaken after life,
Happy up in heaven,
Or in hell with pain and strife,

My only choice was to go,
And leave my family behind,
This poem that I'm writing,
On my dead body they will find,

In this last verse that I'm writing,
The tears finally start to fall,
Now I'm walking toward that white light,
Down that long forsaken hall
