UnNoticed

by Deja Marie Meriwether   Nov 2, 2005

You sit back unnoticed,
The perfect picture of silence.

Almost a shadow in the crowd around you,
You watch and listen.

You hear many voices,
Some of people you know,
And others of them unfamiliar,
So many faces.

You look across the room and stare,
To see what has caught your rarely intrigued attention,
And you don't quite see them,
Another shadow.

The same as you they are,
Hidden and quiet not wanting to be seen,
You smile as they do too,
You know the feeling that they feel,
A shared moment of revelation.
