Toothache

by Deja Marie Meriwether   Nov 2, 2005

It's like a tooth extraction,
Except it's from my mind,
They put you out with gases,
And drill into your mouth,
My brain is being drilled,
Like the tooth they want to take,
But I won't seem to let them,
This pain I can enjoy,
It permeates through my body,
Making all of me sick,
I revel in it,
I won't let them take the proverbial tooth,
The root of all my hate.

Wow, a great similarity with taking out a tooth...nice poem about life! 5/5!
