Life Without Me

by Ashlee   Nov 3, 2005

Soon my life will change,
You won't see me in town.
I'll have a kid at home,
That is sure to tie me down.
You'll be at work,
Watching for me to drive by.
When you no longer see me,
You'll begin to sigh.
You'll start thinking,
About the things you could have done.
Starting with the time,
You let your parents ruin your fun.
You'll regret not sticking up for yourself,
Because you could have been with me.
Now you'll spend the rest of your life,
Wondering if you'll ever be happy.
I tried to help you out,
You obviously didn't care.
You'd rather go on thinking,
Life just isn't fair.
My life is shattered into pieces,
Yours probably is too.
Even after all of this,
I can't deny my feelings for you.
