Fallen

by Catty   Nov 3, 2005

Fallen flea,
tattered wings,
half shut eyes,
swollen stings.

Under the moon,
curl up and cry,
you've been thrown out,
tossed aside.

Once your beauty,
could light up the day,
don't have it anymore,
been stolen away.

Nowhere to go,
stuck in between,
now in purgatory,
your darkest dreams.

Swallowed whole,
the deepest misery,
your soul chained down,
and forever it will be.

So your torture awaits,
blood, pain, and tears,
forevermore you remain,
locked up with your fears.

Your punishment, perhaps,
for all you've done and been,
you knew you weren't worthy,
now you pay for your sins.
