Wondering

Wouldnt it be easier if I could say that you lie,
Say that you told me forever yould be mine?
Instead you warned me not to love you, said I would hate you before long.
I didnt see how that could ever be,
We were so great together you and me.
Then it happened, I fell in love with you, I never meant to.
You said we were through, what hell you put me through.
The pain left me such a mess.
Now your back as if you were never gone.
I find myself wondering how long till your gone?
