Stand up Tonight.

Inside of me there is so much hate,
I am unable to just think straight,
Unable to analyze what's wrong,
Prisoner in my head all day long.

Scared to see my own reflection,
Afraid that I might lose my direction,
I am making my way to no-where,
And carrying more then I can bare.

I don't have time to stay a while,
I have to move on, that's my style,
I gave my all, all has been shed,
Road of tears blood and sweat.

This last time I'll spread my wings,
Just to see what tomorrow brings,
I will stand up for my last fight,
Won't wait I will stand up tonight.

You thought I was broken for good,
My friend, you never understood,
That beside my weakness and pain,
Is so much more, can't even explain.

I know I failed when you succeeded,
You left at the time you were needed,
Holding your head high in the air,
When all I needed was loving care.

My friend, please bend over to see,
What you'll see is real, I'll guarantee,
It's a little girl you see, she fell apart,
In her hand holding her bleeding heart.

There is absolutely no one at her side,
Keep looking and don't tell me you tried,
Now turn you head and walk away,
It's what you are good at, so do as I say.

This last time I'll spread my wings,
Just to see what tomorrow brings,
I will stand up for my last fight,
Won't wait I will stand up tonight.

    This has to be oe of the best poems i have ever read.They way you have written it is amazing!! Your poems really inspire me and i wish that one day i might be able to write poems as good as yours. The feelings, emotions, about this poem are so....so GOOD!! well done once again for an amazing piece of poetry.

    You are right! This poem is beautiful! My poem 'Tears of Red' has a kind of connection. You express your feelings so deply in this poem, it is amazing. You have a wonderful way with word and can weave them into something as heartful as this. Please! Kepp writing your poems, they are fantastic!
