under a big oak tree
we both just sat there and started to talk

it seem like it never seem to end
but when the sorrow wind blows
and when the leaf fell to the ground
i could just start to see your tears come out like the heaven rain drops
i didn't know what was wrong or what to say
cause you started to cry and didn't seem to try to give up
i asked in a sweet kind way
as if i really cared and loved you
you told me you were sad

i found my lips dry with words i couldn't seem to say
i found my mind trapped with spelling that i couldn't spell
