Sticks and stones

by Sara   Nov 4, 2005

Let the tears roll down the window pane,
let them wash away within the rain.
Wipe the black cole from beneath your eyes,
and along with it will come the lies.
Watch the hazy red and white stars fly pass,
As you lean your head agaisnt the cool glass.
Let the rolling of pavement ease your mind,
And leave the sticks and stones behind.
Close your eyes and let the last tears fall,
Sleep before the past comes to call.
