Wearing Your Mask

by Sara   Nov 4, 2005

I heard you've been swept into the crowd,
Hear they've taken away your pride,
You wont speak the truth outloud,
For fear you'll be kicked aside.
They love who you're pretending to be,
You've begun to believe this is who you are,
But I know the truth, though you disagree,
In the end you'll be left with more than a scar.
But when this all crumbles down,
When your tired of wearing this mask,
When they've all left, I'll still be around,
Holding your hand, even if your ashamed to ask.
So when you realize that this isnt who you want to be,
That this isnt who you really are,
And you can come, come back to me.
Because home is never to far.
