From the Stars

Summer flitters three inches from my face and flys past with the fall,
I hear from Christmas and Easter but it seems like you never call.
And season by season they come and they go but you dont seem to follow,
This thick paste of broken heart is getting harder to swallow.
The robin says he hasn\'t heard your voice and bluebird says she misses your song,
I miss you lulling me to sleep with your balance of notes and it\'s been too long.
The wind trys to rock me like the cradle but your arms may never be replaced,
Even the sweetest of all the strawberries could never match your taste.
The roses have bloomed and produced a heavenly smell just for me,
But your scent is better than 12 dozen roses & they agree.
I asked the sky to cristalize, it was bluer then anyones eyes have seen ever before,
Yet I sighed because yours eyes were too beautiful a blue for even the eagles to soar.
So now I see winter, wave goodbye to spring and greet the summer once more,
But the stars said you\'ve told them you don\'t love me anymore.
