COLD HEARTED

by Karla Gordon   Nov 4, 2005

I wonder if you have a heart
Cold hearted is what you are
To tell a woman you love her
Then treat with such disrespect.

You took a piece of my soul
Breaking me to such depth
Trusting will be hard to do
It will all come back to you.

Living with yourself must be hard
Knowing what you have done
Throwing love to the ground
Turning your back, without a sound.

I was there for you like no other
Loving, caring, sharing, trusting
Confession of my heart was given to you
You knew me like no other.

My heart I have turned to stone
Thinking of you only causes pain
You listened to others harsh words
Knowing I was sweet and true.

The days I dreamed only of you
Coming to join your everything
Those thoughts are gone forever
No more tears, no more pain.
