So Untrue

by Karla Gordon   Nov 4, 2005

I hear your words
But they are not your own
Never were you asked to
Chose friends or me.

My home was happy
Choices were made
You told me you decided
Hands down without a doubt.

It was me for I was true
The others that pressured
Those that caused the problem
Tore your brain in two.

You longed for me there
To hold you close
Stroke your hair, being two
Child's laughter in the air.

Many plans we made
OF happy times, feelings true
You wanted me and I wanted you
Others made that hard to be.

You call them friends
I don't think that can be
You know I am right, you agreed
Those are the ones that cause the pain.

Never were you let to be
When you found me
Their was jealousy
No one knows what was shared.

Smiles we both had
Long talks, so much shared
They took it all
The quilt was too much to bear.

How you ended it was wrong
No words, no sorry, no thoughts
Just ignorance was the pain
For this I know cold hearted you are.

After all who does such a thing
Three times in a row
Not a nice person for sure
I think she rubs on you for wrong.

You shared the pain, hurt she gave
Her you chose, your choice is wrong
Here she lied, no feelings I have
Then in IM she said I feel for you.

So long she had to chose
Better then me I think not
Everyone is different and knows
Choices best for them.

Lead with your heart
Voices of others unheard
How true are your friends?
To push you to be alone?

I was there, great times we had
Things share, all learned
Each minute of each day
Think of all we did.

How close were we?
As close as two can be
Miles were no obstacle
We shared in every way possible.

Tell me your happy
I won't believe
I read your words
You still beg her for love.

Talking with friends everyday
Do they understand what you did
All you gave away?
Convince yourself, I know you can't.
