There's A Girl

by Kristen   Nov 4, 2005

There is a girl who sits on her bed at night, just wondering why.
The tears spill down her cheeks, and she still wonders why.
There is a girl who can be considered fake.
Her eyes tell a story her smile could never tell.
There is a girl who goes to school and feels a stab of heartache everyday.
She knows of only one person who can help.
There is a girl who thinks, "Would he care?"
But what she doesn't know is that he would.
There is a girl who sits in private with a towel stained in red.
When she goes out, she hides her wrist.
There is a girl who everyone thinks is happy.
But she is sad and unhappy on the inside.
As she sits there in her bedroom, with that razor so close,
She still wonders why and "Would he care?"
This girl puts the razor on her wrist and slowly carves a poem,
all to the way he made her feel.
There is a girl who wants to relive the days before it was over.
