Just because i tell it like it is
doesn't mean I'm good
at expressing my true feelings
cause really I'm not

I tend to build a wall up
and not let anyone in
When i back away the farthest
is when i need someone the most

But you seem to break my wall down
and seem to get closer
when i need someone the most

So much i want you to be the
one i lean on, my shoulder to cry on
cause i know you'd be there
to wipe away the tears

I'm sorry i build this wall
its not something i can control
its been there for so long
been built up over the years

Its the way I've learned to cope
with things, all i need is time
i need to know you will
not hurt me, and maybe i can bring it down.....
