Sorrow and Sadness

It was a cold reminder
Of what she was
And what she could never be
The horrible imagery through her eyes
She always saw what she wished she couldn't see
Always a remembrance
A chance she never took
Of what she gave away
And for what?
What did she gain?
Nothing,
Nothing but sorrow and sadness!
