The innocence of a child is always lost
And can never be gained back
Because of the cruelties of society
Living up to impossible standards
Getting good grades
Being on time
Being "cool" for your peers
Be what your friends want you to be
Live for the moment-
But only if others approve
And defiantly don't go out with a guy that isn't hot or your friends will ask you what you were thinking
And try to find time for yourself in between
Life is impossible sometimes
With all of the society's lies
