She takes off her mask
She gets ready for bed
She looks in the mirror,
sees her true self
just one tear she sheds.
She lays her head down on her pillow
Prays hard to god to keep her alive,
she just wants to see what it feels like
not wanting to wake up everyday
feeling like she wants to die.
And the only things she thinks about
is why she cant be with you.
What did she do to make you leave?
Did you want her heart to be broken in two?
She starts to wonder, starts to thinks
Cries out to god "why are people so fake"
But the only thing she hears is silence
she whispers "Im a failure, a stupid mistake."
She trys to take in everything shes thinking
But the pain hurts so much, she beings to weep
All of a sudden she stops, and in that very moment,
She can still hear you singing her softly to sleep.
