If You Knew Me...

by k i k i   Nov 5, 2005

Rolling stones down the hills,
Emotions falling to a subtle grave.
If you knew me,
You wouldn't be able to cope.

Blood swiped across my eyes,
I can't move my mouth.
If you knew me,
You wouldn't smile.

Bashed and bruised,
Sound pumping in all directions.
If you knew me,
You would want to listen.

Toes worn and tired,
Socks dirty and nails chipped.
If you knew me,
You would want to change your shoes.

Mind set on state of shock,
There's no way I can change back.
If you knew me,
You would just want you forget you knew.

You're just like the rest of them.
Ones who give up all hope.
