Look at what we had,
So much.
So many secrets.
Look at what we did for each other,
But then again,
Look at how we hurt each other.
I was paralyzed for a few moments,
Reading through that email,
Explaining why it had turned so black.
Nine days later,
I stared at the final goodbye in my inbox,
I was so scared to open it.
And once I read it,
I had to stop a few times,
My eyes were so blurred I couldnt see.
I was disraught.
I would wake up and feel so good,
Three seconds later I would be curled up,
Trying to stop the pain in my heart,
So many times I've wondered,
Look at we had,
We had something great,
We could've really done something.
But we fell back into our old ways.
And now what are we doing?
Is it going to die all over again,
Right now its so weak,
But it's a start.
It's hope,
But now,
I just can't trust hope anymore.
