They said you'd be there,
You're not there.

They said you'd care,
You don't care.

They said you'd notice,
You don't notice.

They said you'd worry,
You don't worry.

They said you'd love me,
You don't love me.

They said in time you'd see,
I'm sick of waiting.

They said you'd come around,
I still don't see you.

They said it'd happen,
It hasn't happened.

God, i've given you enough reasons
I'm sick of this sin,
So now will you please let me
Get over him?

    Hey. i really like this poem. it's very true. love kinda sucks...

    the only thing that i saw that if it was my poem, i would change is the line:

    They said you'd be there,
    You're not there.

    i'd put:

    You're not here

    but i do see why you didn't do it that way. anyways- just some food for thought. but yes- great job!

    I know how it feels to wait forever for someone....thats what i get from this poem and to actually have these feelings for someone who could care less about you. i love it
