It's been so long since her old friend had been out
she'd stopped listening to it's lies
and giving in to all her doubts

she became so strong, never giving in, but tonight was different
she no longer wanted to live

she turned on the radio and started listening to her favorite depressing band
she tried to tell people what was wrong, but no one would ever understand

she turned on the shower and started to sob, she didn't want to give in, it had been so long

she slid her old friend across her tan skin,
no one saw the signs, no one ever listened

A fallen angel laying in tears and blood
no matter how much she bleeds it will never be enough

each old scar, opened again, now carved in her arm " forgive me I have sinned"
