When Shadows Break

by Lindsey   Nov 6, 2005

10 minutes of silence in chaotic death
a heartbreak, a whisper, a final breath
an angled shadow beneath my heart
letting go is the hardest part
mirrors in pieces and pieces of flame
dancing shadows without faces or names
a breath or a whisper goodbye to my love
it's never enough when the push comes to shove
the agony waiting for words to sink in
your actions and heartbreak i want to drink in
fingernails broken and ragged and bleeding
nervous and hopeful and ever decieving
let yourself go, walk away from the light
vanish and bleed into fear of the night
