A Million Pieces

by Kristy Green   Nov 6, 2005

Break me, neatly
take me into...
tear me open from the inside
-a million pieces-
I'd endure a great deal
just to feel your warmth
-so many reasons-

My heart feels so heavy
So heavy in your hands..
I feel so heavy in your hands
Feel so heavy in your mouth
Because words spoken are forgot
and my name means nothing to you
I feel so heavy in your heart
Because I know I don't belong
and I know I'm not

you make pain into something I can touch
Help me to understand
what's enough?

Now they say
There's another part of you
that is brand new
another part that I could never take away..

I should of known better
Damn you, I should of known
that you would
break me open inside
and take me apart
-a millions pieces-

you make pain into something that is real
something in my hands
that i can feel
I learn this as I pick myself up

you hurt here, and you loved there
why are you everywhere?
Don't you see?
all of them little meaningless blue pieces..
there's a million reasons..
