I gave to you apart of me
To with no one else I've shared
And I gave to you this part of me
Because I thought you cared

I thought you loved me with your heart

I realize now the one I love
Was out to get what he could find

The nights he held me in his arms
And put love thoughts in my head
Were only his dreams of fantasy
To get me into bed

He says that I Love You
