Goodbye, Mr. Rainbow Eyes

by Taylor Porton   Nov 6, 2005

Swirls of color
form a rainbow
Twinkling back at me
from the blacks of your eyes

I watch them twirl
like tiny fires
with licking flames
Burning

Scorched
I rush to diffuse the flames
and find the cure
Your tears

Spilling down across your cheeks
I now long
For the flickering pinks and reds
dancing wildly in your eyes
The images of
...me
