Beauty & the Beast

by ntv650   Nov 6, 2005

She came round, I kissed her at the door.
I led her through to a candelit room.
All the time she whispered little words,
Like "Oh my God" and "I Love You"

Pulled out the chair, offering her to sit,
Tucking back black hair to reveal her neck.
Smellt the perfume on her delicate skin,
What wonderful evening was about to begin?

Sat down to a table with lovely food,
Offered but two drinks before giving in.
Her lips talking teased me inadvertantly,
Every word I listened to most attentively.

I now sit lazily eyes lingering inside hers,
A flickering candle seperating us both.
But the fire burns colder than me inside,-
With the passion, Love and affection I hide.

Then as she stood and her hand I kissed,
I asked who she might like to dance with.
But without moving her mouth she replied,
It felt like beauty and the beast that night...
