Families are supposed to be there for you
and support you all the way
families are supposed to love you each and everyday
You wonder why they hate you
and why you don't belong
than you realize
this is the reason
for all those "i hate you" songs
just because they have the same blood as you do
that doesn't always mean
they will be there for you when you're blue
Families come in different shapes and sizes
but always seem to make you mad
and sometimes deep in the night time
you wish you had a better family
than what you had
families sometimes are just whacked out people sharing a house
but sometimes family is a group of people who care about each other
who share the same blood
sometimes is rare
in this day and age
but the other possibility is that the family you do have
fills you up with rage
not knowing what to do
not knowing what to say
wishing my family cared about me
even for just a day
