you say that you want to be just friends
nothing less nothing more just let us be
then you call
and say that you want to see how being more than friends would go
and I fall
right back into the game and I start to think, how was i supposed to know
then we fight
next is making up
and promising each other to stay close and tight
until one of us lets go

but you have also made me cry
through all the trials
and the hurt but I always hope that we try
