A Special Place

by Eyes_Of_Rain   Nov 6, 2005

There's a special place in Heaven,
Where all of our beloved pets go.
A place just for our loyal friends,
Where they can frolic to and fro'
There are big meadows for running,
And cool creeks for splashing in.
Our beloved pets aren't sad there,
For they know we'll all meet again.
All of the animals get along here,
So we must not worry about all that.
Cats, they never chase the birds,
And the dogs never chase the cats.
There's always lots of food to eat,
And clean water for them to drink.

Our pets are sent there on high,
While they wait for you, and I.
So when our time here is over,
And we go on to a better place.
Our loyal pets will be there,
To greet us and lick our face.
Then we'll be together forever,
Safe in Heaven's loving arms.
Not ever again will you worry,
About your baby getting harmed.
Until the day we're with them,
Never, ever again to be apart.
They're absent from our lives,
But not absent from our hearts.
