Starting Out/Ending Up

by Jessie BSC   Dec 12, 2003

Started out as pride and joy,
turning out to be a tom boy.
Always wore pink and lace,
don't even say grace.
Always found my way out,
always tend to pout.
Always expressed myself to others,
feeling hidden away, feeling worse than ever.
Made to believe life is good,
found out life is crude.
Always ran around with imagination,
only know about discrimination.
Always walked around with courtesy,
feeling were at war, feeling like a mercenary.
Always wondered how other lives are,
wondering if death isn't too far.
Always saying I can change the world,
falling apart, away from this world.
Always smiled to cheer others up,
tired of this, has had enough.
Always concentrated on what I want,
finding out what I'm not.
