Clock

by Jessie BSC   Dec 12, 2003

Everyday I seem to wait,
for this day to end soon.
I'm tired of waiting for you,
where are you?
Tick Tock, goes the clock,
everybody tends to to talk.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock,
around the clock,
waiting for you.

The winter wind blew far away,
spring breeze is out today.
Smiling, feeling the warm sun on my back,
time to go to the park,
time to pack.
And Tick Tock goes the clock,
everybody tends to talk.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock,
around the clock,
waiting for June.

Sitting there looking at the dark sky,
holding back my tears,
everyone trying not to pry,
then I start to cry.
And Tick Tock goes the clock,
everybody tends to talk.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock,
around the clock,
still waiting for you.

Lay down at night to dream,
thoughts of you running through my head.
Longing for you, I start to scream,
you ran away, away from me.
I open my eyes and there you were!
"Hello Daddy! I've missed you so!"
And Tick Tock goes the clock,
everyone tends to talk.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock,
around the clock,
I love you!
