I reminisce about the past
how i thought we would
always be
but people change
as i reminisce
about how much
you use to love me

Yesterday we were together
And you promised me forever
Yesterday i thought
a love that was so true
would always last forever

As i look in on the past
i see you and me
In love with each other
i never thought
you would be the one to leave me

I thought we would be together forever, but now i know
you cant promise someone forever
because people change
and move on with their lives
and nothing stays the same

and you were my everything

and in return someone
had loved me

But as i look in i see the change
how we let our love fade away
now your in love with her
but i know you'll never
love her the same way
you once had loved me

Remember when we use to be
how much time we shared
and if i was feeling any pain
you would always be there

Yesterday i would have cross the
ocean for you
but people change there ways
and nothing stays the same
even if you love someone new
